Baseball Toaster was unplugged on February 4, 2009.
I pushed live a new version of the software Saturday afternoon.
This version adds a couple of features:
Now the authors will finally be able to get their blogrolls onto their sites.
It also incorporates a few bug fixes:
Just a few more things to take care of with the basic blogging stuff, and then we can start working on the fun stuff.
When I said non-UTF, I meant any character value above 127. So when I say the bed is two foot long, you should understand that the bed is in fact sixty foot long.
The curly quotes were the biggest problem; I translate those back to regular quotes. Any other high-bit characters get escaped. I'm not fiddling with UTF/ISO at all.
And right now I'm as sick as a dog, so I still may not know what the heck I'm talking about.
